Near metro, air conditioning, parking, comfortable room

A small breakfast and big tourist tax (48€ for 4, 2 nights)

We really enjoyed the hotel service, it was very helpfull and kind. The room was really clean and pretty. The connection with city was easy and quite fast. We loved the sorrounding and contact with nature. Even after opening the windows it was quite.

The breakfest could be more varied.

Very friendly staff, gave nice instructions about premices and the city of Rome.

The building looks rather old and requires renovations, interiors are worn out, locks on bathrooms don't work. The room I get at first was rather small with a tiny bathroom and shower. The hotel doesn't have fitness, pool or even sauna, which doesn't look right for a 4 start location. They also serve instant coffee on breakfast. Yikes.

Hotel was great - room was well furnished and equipped, we had our own bathroom(it was a step forward comparing to our previous "hotel"), room was cleaned every day, it had good air conditioner, and not even 100 meters away there was pine park, so basically we liked almost all about this hotel.

Breakfast - we stayed there for 4 nights and breakfast menu did not changed. If they could change breakfast menu or add more fresh things like vegetables that would be great. Location - it is not bad or very far from center, but still. It has quite good metro connection with center and actually almost all you got to see in Rome is on the same metro line(station is situated about 10 minutes of normal walk from hotel), but it is easy to get lost, if you came out of metro in other metro station entrance than before.

The Pinewood hotel is said to be a 4-star but is hardly a 2-star hotel. I booked a double room, but I was lucky to be alone, because I have no idea how two people might use this room. The lack of space was obvious as I could hardly put all my things into the bathroom and could hardly turn around. The wardrobe had no shelves, only seven or eight hangers (where was I supposed to put all my clothes?!?). There was no minibar (4-stars!!!!!), only an empty closet where it once stood. I stayed in this hotel for five nights, but no one even once replaced the shower gel and the shampoo. The glass was plastic and was also never replaced. The room also had a jacuzzi, but the space between the jacuzzi and the bathtub was so filthy it could not be used. But the worst thing of all is definitely the breakfast. I think you can even hardly call this a breakfast. For all five days, there was only one kind of ham and only one kind of cheese. This hotel is a complete disaster and I would not recommend it to anyone.

Wifi, TV, Bathroom in the room was great.

Too far from the metro, no cafes or restaurants nearby. Room looked tired, needed to be painted, needed new carpet and the bed and pillows were hard and uncomfortable.

Very convenient for buses into central Rome and car parking excellent

Small point but breakfast only adequate and coffee worst we had in Italy

Walking to train station was too far esp through men drinking on pavement. Shuttle bus to train station would have been so good.

The PInewood Hotel was a good value.

Location was less than convenient... fifteen minutes walk from the metro stop into town.

The location was good enough for us since it was near a bus stop and the metro station was within walking distance. The room was very nice and spacious for a family with four kids. Stuff was very friendly.

The breakfast was very basic for a hotel of this type. It should have more variety and even hot food such as eggs and bacon or something similar. Usually when people book hotels that include breakfast they do that because touring implies late lunch and they expect that breakfast will be adequate. Especialy when it is described as buffet breakfast.

Staff are very friendly and helpful. I would stay there anytime I visit roma.. I wish they would serve dinner.

I like everything the price was good.

Its location to the centre of Rome was the Hotel's strong point and the helpfulness of the staff on answering local enquiries.

The hotel initially offered a completely incorrect room and it took a forceful discussion with the hotel recpetionist to get the hotel to change our room to the grade which we booked. This put an initial dampener on the start of the trip, but was quickly forgotten about and the receptionist turned out to be extremely knowledgeable about transport options into the city. We were travelling with 3 children ages 2, 8 and 13 and the room we had was a little small for 5 people, but that said, this would be an excellent room for a family of three and the hotel's location made getting into and out of Rome pretty easy. The breakfast was OK.

My family enjoyed the hotel a lot. Room was clean and nice. Air conditioning worked well (even when it was +35 C outside). Breakfast was good. The reception personnel (especially Giuseppe) was very friendly and helpful.

Not a 4 star hotel. But the rooms were a decent size and were very clean. Most staff were friendly and helpful and it was close to transport.
